The photo on the left is of us as we reached the lake created by the glaciers. There are two galciers meeting to form the tounge behind us. We had hiked about three and a half hours to get to this lake, but the hike was relatively flat and easy. The photo on the right is us sitting on the glacier, more or less straight behind our location in the first photo. We had just scaled the ice wall (Megan led the way by being the first up to the top). Getting from the location on the left to the location on the right was grueling, however, as it required hiking up and down steep slopes of large, wet or loose rocks. It took about two and a half hours to get from the first photo to the second.
